The success behind the housewarming party? - Two ambitious young people!
In this article, our very own CEO Jakob tells about how he and his fiancée took the help of two young people at a larger party. And what a success it was.
Cool story!
My fiancée Catrine and I decided that we would hit two birds with one stone and combine our engagement party with our housewarming party. We are both entrepreneurs with full calendars. So just finding the time to plan a party is a struggle. After hearing friends tell their stories about how they took help via Yepstr at parties, baptisms, birthday parties and other events, we thought it was time to give it a try. as CEO of Yepstr, it's almost embarrassing not to have tried all the categories.Companies can also get help from Yepstr before their event
Time to post ad
Monday before bedtime we put up our ad together. The party itself was on Saturday, so we hoped there would be enough time to find someone. Catrine thought we should get help from two young people. It's more fun to work together. It turned out to be a gold idea and something I really recommend. If you have the opportunity to get help from more young people, do it! It will be a lot of fun for everyone involved. It did not take long before it pinged in the app, and the answers began to rattle in. Most applications were super good. Nice pictures, broad descriptions and well-thought-out motivations. Sometimes a little crunchy language, and you have to reckon with a duck face picture. These are young people we are talking about. Then you write a good motivationIn the end, we chose to book Daphne who then had 16 assignments and wanted about SEK 95 / h. Now she has 34 completed assignments, and I am convinced that she will reach the 100 mark by the summer. We also booked Rachelle, who has not yet had time to carry out an assignment, with an hourly wage of SEK 90. Now she has started properly and is up in over 30 assignments.[caption id="attachment_792" align="aligncenter" width="755"]

What can you get help with?
Both were very responsive in the chat and could come an hour before the party to prepare. The most common events that Yepstr's users take help with are student records, baptisms and slightly larger birthday parties at home, such as the 50th anniversary party. What can you then get help with at your event, you may wonder? Yes!
- Welcome guests and take care of outerwear and shoes. This makes a big difference if it is a smaller room with limited hanging space
- Keep clean, pick glasses and plates etc.
- Serve drinks. As long as there is a responsible adult on site, minors can serve alcohol. However, keep in mind that it should be an environment that is suitable for young people- No wild parties in other words.
- Serve food or refill the buffet. Make a big difference for the guests and for you. Less chaos in the kitchen and less stress for you.
Young people with potential
Of course, the young people need some tips and support during the evening. Maybe some reminder to take a turn and pick up dishes sometimes. You can not do everything the first time. However, it was clear that both Daphne and Rachelle had a desire to learn - and overall they excelled!People even wanted to tip them. I am proud to say that our combined engagement / moving-in party was a great success and after the evening, several of my friends have chosen to get help via Yepstr for various events. It does not have to be a big spectacle - even for smaller gatherings it can be nice with a little relief. When you still spend a lot of money on food and drink, it may not do much with a few hundred bucks. It will be a completely different party when you can relax and enjoy yourself. How can Yepstr help you?Children's parties should really be the optimal job. How fun it is for children to hang out with someone who is a little closer to themselves in age, and the young people have the energy to play and joke the whole party. Below you see a picture from the party and circled you see Daphne and Rachelle. Absolutely superb!
Not the last time
At the next event we will definitely get help again. It will probably be on Catrine's birthday or our next housewarming party. Alternatively if we take hold of the midsummer celebration. Time will tell! The question is whether we should book Daphne and Rachelle again or whether we should give some other talented young people the chance. Both have run on in the Yepstr career and now unlocked company jobs. It feels fun to have been there and supported there.Get started right away
